About Us

At Intentional Evolution, LLC, we specialize in guiding government agencies and large organizations (1,000+ employees) through transformative journeys toward identity-based equity and systemic inclusion. With over 25 years of consulting experience, our founder and principal consultant, Dr. Tabitha Moore (she/they), brings unparalleled expertise in integrating equity into complex systems of care.

Dr. Moore’s extensive background spans multiple sectors, including disability services, mental health, law enforcement, education, and child welfare. This cross-systems experience fosters a deep empathy and understanding that informs our holistic approach to organizational transformation.

Academically, Dr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wells College, where she designed an interdisciplinary major focusing on psychology, sociology, Spanish language, women’s studies, and Latin American cultural studies. Her research on women’s identity development in the Dominican Republic earned her the honor of graduating with distinction. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and is a licensed Family Therapist. Currently, she is completing her Ph.D. in Transformative Social Change at Saybrook University, with research centered on developing anti-racist approaches to police procedures concerning identity-based harm.

Dr. Moore’s leadership extends beyond academia and consulting. She founded the Rutland Area Branch of the NAACP, establishing New England’s second-largest branch and securing $100,000 in funding for the Bright Leadership Institute—a premier training institute empowering BIPOC individuals to engage in civic life and public service.

Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Outstanding Young Alumnae Award from Wells College (2021), the NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award (2021), and the Human Rights Award from Rights and Democracy of Vermont & New Hampshire (2020).
